Enjoy excellent birding on farm, at dams and along the Ngwempisi River.
Game viewing
Reedbuck roams the farm and lake area. Other small game species will be spotted on the farm as well so pack your binoculars and come enjoy some game viewing.
fishing
Excellent bass fishing in the Retreat’s lake as well as in the dam at the Stoffella Chalet and two smaller dams closeby. The Swartwaterspruit runs into the lake and becomes the Ngwempisi River with excellent fishing for small mouthed yellow fish.
